Tai chi is often described as meditation in motion but it might as well be called “ medication in motion.” There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice, which originated in China as a martial art, has the amazing power to prevent, and even treat, many health problems, and you can get started now regardless of your current condition.

In this low-impact exercise, you slowly flow, without pause, through a series of motions, breathing deeply and naturally, and focusing your attention on your body sensations and breath.  Tai Chi movements are usually circular and never forced, the
muscles relaxed rather than tense, and the joints never fully extended or bent.  Tai Chi can be easily adapted to anyone, from the most fit to those in wheel chairs or recovering from Surgery.

Tai chi is based on nature. Its gentle flowing movements contain an inner power witch strengthens The body and mind. Those who practice tai chi become like a tree or a river, calm on the outside, But full of internal strength, more capable of withstanding whatever life may through their way.
